Data Robotics, Inc., innovator in opslag en bescherming van digitale content, meldt de benoeming van Paul Thackeray tot Vice President voor Europa, het Midden-Oosten en Afrika (EMEA). Thackeray zal werken vanuit het Europese hoofdkwartier in Groot-Brittannië, en verantwoording afleggen aan CEO Tom Buiocchi van Data Robotics. Thackeray werkte voorheen als Managing Director/VP EMEA bij Barracuda Networks, waar hij verantwoordelijk was voor de groei van de business van de start-up naar een Europees miljoenenbedrijf binnen 4 jaar. Hij beschikt over meer dan 20 jaar ervaring in de IT-sector. In zijn nieuwe rol bij Data Robotics zal Thackeray leidinggeven aan de snelle expansie van het bedrijf in de EMEA-regio. Hij zal zich met name richten op de ontwikkeling van de business-to-business (b2b) channel-strategie, geheel in lijn met de groeiende SMB-productportfolio van het bedrijf.
Data Robotics, Inc., the company that is changing the way the world stores and protects digital content, today announced the appointment of Paul Thackeray as Vice President of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Based in the company’s European headquarters in the UK, Thackeray reports directly to Tom Buiocchi, CEO at Data Robotics.
With over 20 years experience in the IT industry, Thackeray joins Data Robotics from Barracuda Networks, where as Managing Director/VP EMEA he was responsible for growing the business from start up to a multi-million dollar European operation within 4 years.
In his role at Data Robotics, Thackeray is responsible for continuing Data Robotics’ rapid expansion across EMEA through investment in the channel. He will be particularly focused on developing the company’s business-to-business (b2b) channel strategy, in line with the company’s growing SMB product portfolio.

Europe has become a high-growth market for us and Paul has a proven track record of recruiting distributors and resellers across the region. Thackeray has previously held senior managerial and director positions at Sonicwall, Global Secure Systems Limited and Cylink Limited.
